We have a simple food philosophy, to source and showcase the best quality local ingredients in a contemporary way to promote each season.
We’re conscious of health, knowing you probably are too! So we do our very best to assist with all dietary requirements and cook our food in the cleanest way with love.
Our eggs are free range, bread the best quality sourdough we can source, coffee fair trade and we proudly align ourselves with other businesses who commit to sustainable business practices.
Winter’s kitchen team loves hearing new ideas for future menus or sampling great new local produce, so if you have something you would like to show us we’d love to hear from you!
Lara Food and Wine Festival
This year Winter’s has been proud to be a part of the Lara Food and Wine Festival. The festival showcases the diverse range of quality food and wine produced in the Lara region and other local producers. Our head chef Dezeraei was asked to be amongst six other leading chefs in the region in the Ultimate Chef Challenge, which she ambitiously accepted. The competition was judged by Alice Zaslavsky from 2012 Masterchef (www.alicez.com.au), respected author and restaurateur Rosa Mitchell and the team from BayFM. Along with Matt for support and assistance, Dez blitzed the competition coming in a very respectable second with her yabby dish behind Jack and Jill’s Leonie Mills. A great day was had by all and we look forward to next year’s competition!
